| Amazing early cuff pre-Taxco. This cuff was likely made in Mexico City and bears the traditional repousage that characterized the traditional Spanish Colonial Mexican silversmithing. Though it is signed Aguilar, the maker was not the famous Hector Agular. Also marked 900, which was the 19th and early 20th century marks for high purity silver, before the international convention for sterling at 925. Thi is a gorgeous truly antique example of the mexican silver tradition. COLLECTOR QUALITY | ||||||||
