| A very rare find this extraordinary necklace is an example of the wide range of techniques used by Antonio Pineda. Mixed metals or Metales Casados is a technique that requires great expertise and skill by the silversmith. The technique is so labor intensive that it was practically abandoned because it was not cost-effective. This exquisite piece is another example of the great artistic and technical talent of Antonio. The metals present are silver, oxidized silver, copper and brass. The velvet cord show some wear but overall the piece is in very good condition and the metal does not sow damage or repairs. 5" by 1.5" .
