MATL Vermeil "Snake" Set with Early Salas Mark
This beautiful set is an example of the work made by Matilde Poulat's nephew Ricardo Salas before the introduction of the MS-12 (Registration Number) mark in 1968. Both Necklace and bracelet are made of sterling silver with gold wash (vermeil), the clasps are the characteristic for this design with turquiose stones. The bracelet measures are 17.5 cm (6 13/16 in) large, 2 cm (a little bit over 3/4 in) wide, and 65 grams (2.3 ounces). The necklace is 42 cm (16 1/2 in) large by 2 cm (over 3/4 in) wide with a weight of 170 grams (6 ounces). COLLECTOR QUALITY.
