WILLIAM SPRATLING Rare Amethyst FROGS BRACELET
This magnificent bracelet was designed by Spratling after he purchase an amethyst carved in the shape of a frog from the Monte Alban excavations in Mexico. He was so fascinated by the piece that he decided to use the same design for the creation of the links on this bracelet. Each carved amethyst link is alternated with a link made of silver where the frog has amethyst eyes. Few Spratling pieces are extraordinary and whimsical as this one. The bracelet is in excellent condition and has no damage or repairs. 70 g (2.5 oz); 1.6 cm (2/3") wide and 17 cm (6 3/4") of wearable wrist length. COLLECTOR QUALITY
