Vintage JOSE LUIS FLORES Bracelet- Taxco
Made by with the outstanding craftsmanship of Jose Luis Flores and signed Miguel JLF. This sterling and niello bracelet is a very interesting piece of Mexican vintage silver. Jose Luis Flores worked with Aguilar and later with other designers as he set up his shop in his own home. This is why one finds many JLF pieces that are co-signed such as Miguel on this piece. He did work for Emma and others. He continues to work in Taxco. This is a vintage Eagle marked piece by Maestro Jose Luis. The links on the bracelet depict an abstract ideogram probably inspired in old Aztec symbols. There are eleven links, ten of them are fused in pairs. The bracelet is missing its original safety chain and this can be easily replaced. 45 g (1.6 oz)and 17 cm (6 2/3) in length . The links are 1.5 cm (2/3) wide and 3.2 cm (1 1/3) long. VINTAGE QUALITY
