Vintage TAXCO Sterling and Pearl NECKLACE
Fabulous necklace design originally seen in early Sigi Pineda pieces. This necklace appears to have incomplete hallmarking, but bears a design number and some hard to read initials next to the silver content marking (925 JCI?). There is also an eagle number 2 which was used by Sigi and many others. No silversmith is listed under JCI. The necklace however, has a gorgeous setting of natural pearls carefully chosen. There are two larger central white pearls followed on each side by a pair of black pearls; then another pair of yellow-orange pearls and a gray pearl on each end . Very elegant and comfortable to wear. 94 g (3.32 oz). 38 cm (15“) in circumference. VINTAGE QUALITY
