| This is THE fabulous centipede/caterpillar pin by Reveriano and Maria Castillo who signed their pieces under the trade name REVERI. This fabulous brooch has a large amethyst cabochon piece serving as the head of the bug. The pin is made so that is is moveable. The pin anchors both behind the head and at the tip of the tail. So the shape of the caterpillar is decided every time the piece is worn. A fun and fabulous piece probably made in the 1960s. This pin is in excellent condition and shows no signs of damage or repairs. This measures 15.5 cm (6 1/8“) long. The head piece is 3.25 cm (1 1/4”) high. COLLECTOR QUALITY | |||||||
