| *Note: We had previously described this piece as "Early-1930s". This was an error on our part as we had missed the eagle mark. The necklace bears the eagle 129 of Matl. Also, one of our clients with great expertise on MATL, pointed out that the engraved hallmarking on Matilde's pieces began in 1950. We now estimate the date this piece between 1950 and 1970. We apologize for the inaccuracy of our previous description. Breathtaking piece by La Gran Señora, Doña Matilde Poulat. This necklace is one of the best examples of her. The images show the intricate detail of this magnificent piece. Even clasp is in itself a beautiful work of art. The necklace is 95 g (3.4 oz), the central medallion is 7 cm x 7 cm (2 2/3’ x 2 2/3“) and the length of the necklace is 59 cm (23 1/3”). There are two small turquoises missing on the medallion.
