| An iconic piece from one of the most original and artistically accomplished designers from the Mid Century Mexican Silver Movement. This piece depicts a sail fish or Pez Vela. Most of the tourist that came to Taxco in the 40s, 50s and 60s were there fore the silver but also in transit to Acapulco. Men were excited about their possible catch, a large sail fish. I assume that any artistically sensitive wife would be conveniently attracted to this design "to make everyone happy". The brooch measures 4" long and 2-1/3" . COLLECTOR QUALITY | |||||||
