A very special necklace from the Bajio region of Mexico. These Victorian style pieces depicting birds were made in Guanajuato and Aguascalientes. The style is known as PAJARITOS. We ee the earring pajaritos often but a necklace is an a true rarity. The central pendant is made by repousse and metal carving. The eyes of the birds are coral and the blue stones seem to be blue glass. The necklace chain is 18" long and the pendant is 3" wide and 2-1/2"long. COLLECTOR QUALITY
