Outstanding early Spratling cuff elegantly designed with a Pre Columbia weave design probably preceding the famous petate design. The design clearly reminds us that Spratling achieved a profound understanding of the Culture and the Country of Mexico. Most of his designs are appreciated for the aesthetic appeal and balance. However, one must remember that appreciation and knowledge of the culture made his pieces unique and intensely bonded with the land and the people. The applied mark in the ...click for details

These beads are probably from the late Mesoamerican Pre Classic period (2000 BCE–200 CE). The necklace is absolutely magical. The stone beads are interspersed with antique Mexican silver beads (early 20th C). The silver beads were used only as spacers for decorative purpose yet the complement the stone beads on the necklace i ...click for details

Amazing combination of a custom FRank Patania Sr. pendant and Hector Aguilar necklace. This Patania pendant is obviously a one of a kind piece made with an spectacular terra-cotta masquette from Teotihuacan culture in Central Mexico. The Teotihuacan culture spand from 200 BC until about 250AD. This particular Pre Columbian piece is quite remarkable and in great condition. The necklace is an Aguilar piece made for a pendant. The "marriage" of these two piece makes this necklace extraor ...click for details
