After Margot de Taxco closed her shop in the 1970s, many of the Maestros working in her shop continued to make several of her designs. Hilario Lopez, without a doubt was a one of the most talented silversmiths of the time. He continued making this popular CORNFLOWER design with Margot's blessing. He was in fact the person in charge of the same bracelet for Margot. This piece is in excellent condition. The hinge is tight and shows no rust or any other kind of damage. Breathtaking bracelet and earrings set by Miguel Melendez. This modernist design is extraordinary. The bracelet is hinged and is set with two diamond cut alexandrites. The earrings are screw-back. This bracelet weighs 75 grams (2.65 oz) and measures 16 cm (6 1/4") of wearable inner circumference by 4 cm (1 1/2") wide in the front.
