Amazing Necklace made in the Style of MATL. Signed by the maker BARRERA. This necklace is likely to have been made in Mexico City rather than Taxco. This is judged by the repoussage which resembles the Mexican style developed in the Colonial times. The unique Mexican style was never evident in Taxco pieces. Made probably in the 1930s.
