Original Taxco Mid Century watercolor. One is a lovely view at a distance of the cupolas of Santa Prisca church at the center of town. The second piece of matching size and frame is also a Taxco view of one of the narrow, cobblestone uphill streets of this precious Spanish Colonial town of Taxco. Absolutely charming. These pieces were probably purchased by the park at the Taxco Zocalo. This original watercolor is signed GRACIA, likely a gifted artist making ends meet by selling these waterc ...click for details

A rare and unique Los Castillo clamper bracelet. This bracelet is as gorgeous as it photographs and as well made as all Los Castillo pieces. This is an early piece and it is hallmarked with the linear block typeface they used originally. The bracelet appears to have the Margot design influence of the period. Closes tight and adapts to most arms due to the spring hinge. It is 2 inches wide on the front and one inch wide in the back. 60g of weight. COLLECTOR QUALITY

A gorgeous vintage bracelet made during the time when Ricardo Salas was alive and had continued the work of his aunt Matilde Eugenia Poulat. This bracelet is in excellent condition. Moves softly and nicely. The quality of craftsmanship clearly indicates this bracelet was made with extreme care to detail and quality. We estimate this bracelet dates to the 1980s or 1990s. All stones are soft and nicely polished. Measures 7 inches in wearable length and it is 1-1/2" in width. COLLECTOR ...click for details

A unique find, this necklace was crafted using Imperial Mayan Jade beads dating from the Classic Mayan period ~300 CE. These beads were used by the nobility because the dark green brought jade was very scarce and more valuable than gold. Jade was the most precious possession in Pre Columbian Meso America. The Maya consider Jade sacred and also jade protected the wearer from any illness or accident. These beads are extremely precious. They were incorporated into the necklace with interspersed ...click for details

This is a rare set by Hector Aguilar. This is a very modernist design featured in Silver Masters of Mexico by P. Morrill. Both this "hearts" design and the disks are both rare and very desirable for collectors. The set is made with the quality of craftsmanship that one would always expect from the Taller Borda. The copper is used to accent the silver but the inside of the necklace is solid silver. The set is co-signed JLF for the silversmith that produced it for Aguilar. The nec ...click for details

This is another amazing find. A rare, maybe one of a kind set by Margot de Taxco. Margot was undoubtedly fond of color, she colored her jewelry with amazing enameling. However, this set and the turquoise set we recently listed are both testament that she was not shy when it came to color. She found life and beauty in the use stones as well. Color to the silver, that was her major contribution to the Taxco School in mid century Mexico. This set will amaze any silver jewelry lover and will b ...click for details
