The flower-like design is actually an Aztec depiction of a butterfly. This is a fine jewel measures 7" in length and the links are 1" wide at the center. Marked in the back only as STERLING. Marked only SILVER MEXICO it is likely an early piece from the 1930s to the 1940s is our guess. An amazing 21 inches in length the central pendant is 2-1/2" by 3-1/3". Very impressive piece. It is signed Ana, and we have never before seen this signature. I suppose one could speculate that Ana Nunez may have signed her name before she began using her daughter's name as a trademark (Victoria). In any case this is a well made chunky piece that wears like a dream. Measures 6-3/4" wearable length and 1-3/4" wide! The figurals depicted are pre Columbian Aztec.

This piece appears to be pre-eagle (pre 1948) and it is made using the Old Maguey design of made popular by Hector Aguilar. The design is based in Aztec representations of the Maguey cactus. This piece is solid and a very nice, easy to wear cuff. Made using carving techniques. It is signed LC. Measures 6" of wearable length and 1" gap. It is 1-3/4" wide at the front.
