Iguala, the capital city of Guerrero, has been know for centuries to be an important center for some of the finest goldsmiths since the Spanish Colonial period. Most of these antique Oaxacan earrings are a rare find, however, this specific basket design is even more rare. Craftsmanship is extraordinary as the baskets are miniature weaved with gold wire.
