This is a gorgeous Salvador Teran necklace made with his unique artistic design style. Salvador was the undoubtedly one of the most original and talented artist from the Mid Century Taxco Design School. This design is clearly inspired in the Mezo America pre-hispanic cultures. However, his designs, though often inspired in pre-hispanic cultures, they always have his unique modernist interpretation. The necklace is good condition and has no damage or repairs. 75 g ( oz); 38 cm (15"); we ...click for details

This is a fabulous modernist piece by Erika Hult who signed her pieces as RIC. The design is extraordinary as it is the craftsmanship. RIC pieces, are now been recognized as extraordinary and they are becoming highly collectible and therefore more difficult to find. This piece has an eagle mark in the clasp and the hallmark reads RIC TAXCO in a circle with the number 280 (most likely her design number) as well as 925 HECHO EN MEXICO. Fabulous piece by Los Castillo. This brooch/pin is probably from the mid 1940s. A large piece with a cornucopia design in the finest mid-century repoussage from Taxco. Lovely piece for an elegant touch on the lapel of a formal coat . The piece is in very good condition and has no signs of repair or damage. The end of the horn is open, probably meant to accommodate a fresh flower (just a guess). A fine example of vintage Mexican silver. 26 g ( 0.9 oz); 7.5 x 6.5 cm (3"x 2 1/5"). ...click for details

This is an outstanding and massive bracelet by Emilia "Mimi" Castillo. This piece is a vintage Mexican silver piece that she has not produced for many years and probably dates to the 1990s. The bracelet is composed of links in the shape of a frog. The frog resembles the original "Spratling" frog design which was actually a copy of an amethyst from found in the Monte Alban burial excavations. Spratling bought the frog and many other items from Monte Alban in the clandestin ...click for details
