SOLD Thank you!

Unique, gorgeous piece signed JG this is an exceptional repousse clamper for Taxco. There is no eagle stamp so this piece is likely from the 1940s. Fabulous modernist design very much resembling the famous HA armadillo pieces. However, this piece has its own unique design and presence. Nice old school repoussage. Most of the heavier pieces by the great Masters of Taxco could be heavy on the neck and uncomfortable in the summer. This necklace may have been designed as a nice alternative for Summer elegance. The curvature of the link makes them not only sit away from the skin but also allows air to flow thus preventing the discomfort on the neck during hot and h ...click for details
