Exceptional find! This early repousse bracelet. There is a lovely and large green turquoise cabochon in the central link. Few of these pieces surface as they are the most desirable and rare. Most of these high quality MATL pieces are in the hands of seasoned collectors and therefore it is rare to have a piece like this offered. Excellent craftsmanship and exquisite design. Measures 7 inches in wearable length and 1.3 inches wide at the center. COLLECTOR QUALITY

A small masterpiece of the of silver repoussage. This piece was produce probably in the 1930s or earlier. The quality of the work is clearly indicative of the silver work traditional of Mexico City and learned by generations of craftsmen that worked silver in during the Spanish Colonial period. This kind intensive silver work with incision and carving along with repousse is never seen in the piece that came from the same period in Taxco. Taxco was unique because it was a brand new school of s ...click for details

An extraordinary pieces from Central America. Depicting a spider this zoomorphic pendant is a wonderfully executed piece. The Central America cultures used the lost wax technique to make pieces like this one. This piece is from the region that is now Costa Rica. The photographs clearly show some of the reddish patina that characterizes ancient gold pieces. Due to its purity and composition gold does not tarnish and it literally takes many centuries to develop a nice reddish patina like the one ...click for details
