A beautiful necklace/brooch piece in a lovely combination of colors. The central brooch is decorated in exquisite flower and leaves combination. The piece is in good condition. There a small area of discoloration on the white enamel of the brooch. The discoloration is hardly noticeable and visible only upon close inspection. There is no significant enamel loss. A classic W Spratling set. These pieces are in very good used condition and show no damage or signs of repairs. The necklace measures 17 inches in length and has four beads around. The bracelet has three beds around and therefore has a flat portion where it contacts the wrist. The bracelet is 7 3/4" long. An extraordinary and classic William Spratling piece. This cuff was made using ebony and inlay silver and is 1.5 inches wide on the front and is 5.5 inches in internal length with a 1.5 inches in the gap. The piece shows normal wear consistent with is age. There is an imperfection near one of the dots (see photos). We believe that this imperfection is due to a natural imperfection of the wood. Exceptional MATL collar necklace. This necklace is of the same design and style of eagle marked MATL necklaces. However, this particular piece does not have the eagle mark. This fact could be used to date the piece as done before 1948, when the eagle marks were first used. Therefore it is possible that this necklace was made in the earlier part of the 1940s.
