Exceptional antique Mexican necklace from Tehuantepec. This is one of the finest pieces we have found. The filigree is very tight and fine. All the pearls are natural with seed and natural ocean pearls. The gold test at 12 k which is is typical of this work. Exceptional hand hammered bowl by Los Castillo. Made in copper with heavy silver plate. The frogs are hand carved of azure-malachite stone. This large piece is meant to be a centerpiece for a table. Can be filled with water and have some waterlilies or other flowers floating inside. It is of course a bowl for serving. This is an older piece and has patina and wear. Overall it is in good condition and it is gorgeous! 20 inches long , 10.5 inches wide and 3.25 inches deep. COLLECTOR QUALITY

This is one of the most exceptional pieces we have ever offered.A tremendous belt buckle in a Southwestern style but clearly made in Mexico. Similar buckles in silver and copper are etched but this one is repousse an in the clear style of the Mexico City silver tradition. It is the ultimate silver buckle. The backing of the silver is copper. It would require a fine leather belt. This magnificent piece has no marks ant it is 5" by 4" COLLECTOR QUALITY

An extraordinary find this jug came from the Nahua communities of the Upper Balsas River in the State of Guerrero in Mexico. This jug is an outstanding ethnographic piece. This jug was used for its purpose and was never meant to be for the tourist trade. The jug is heavy and has many pre columbian characteristics. This fabulous necklace has a great ethnographic look and was assembled with large beads of natural coral and antique silver coins. Some of the coins are from post Independence Mexico dated in the 1800s. Many are older Spanish Colonial. The small colonial coins are 1 Real and the central coin is an 8 Real going from 1800.
